Freitag F512 VOYAGER backpack; Freitag t-shirt c/o; vintage Levi’s shorts
If you’ve been following the blog for some time now, or Instagram, you might have noticed that Julian and I are traveling. It’s a three-month trip to explore a bit of South-East Asia while continuing to propose ethical and eco-friendly outfits to you. And for all of you who are just now arriving at The Pastel Project, I give you a warm welcome on board and I hope you enjoy the trip!
Finding the right bag for your holidays is the key element for preparing a trip. In my case, the F512 VOYAGER by Freitag is the one following me on every adventure. Its name says it all, and I couldn’t have chosen a better cabin bag! If you haven’t come across Freitag before, the brand is known for making bags out of recycled tarpaulin truck.
The F512 VOYAGER is quite versatile as it adjusts to whatever you’re taking with you. For example, it’s rectangular shape has allowed me to take my beach tote in it, a bag I really want to bring with me on this trip. I use this Freitag bag as cabin luggage, complementing my checked baggage.
Last but not least…this bag is “protected by individualism”, which means that you can go to any F-stores or a selection of F-dealer stores in the world, and borrow an F512 VOYAGER for free, for three weeks, starting today, June 29th until September 30th, 2017, and use it for your next Summer 2017 trip! This is a really nice way to truly test the bag and a great concept encouraging us to share.
Below, check out how I packed the F512 VOYAGER bag for our 4-day getaway to Gili Meno.
I organized my clothing, my accessories and other things in my beach tote bag, that I later placed in the Freitag bag. I still had some space on the sides, so I could add more stuff in it like the portable garment steamer (another essential for the trip, a very practical one which allows me to present non-wrinkled outfits to you 😉 !!!! )
You’ll find a big pocket on the side. I use it for my laptop. There’s also a hidden smaller pocket in it, that I had not seen until after two weeks of travel with the bag! I put my passport in that one now.
If you borrow one of the F512 Freitag, don’t hesitate to share your experience with me, and leave me a comment below this post! You could also share a picture on your Instagram with the hashtags #gonewithFreitag, #frtg, #f512 and #voyager. Tag me on your post so I can see your beautiful pics! Read more here.
