Urban-chic & ethical outfit with Dressing ResponsableOutfit Détails: pink T-shirt; Red skirt {on sale!}; fairminded gold jewellery; pink sneakers {on sale!} – 10% off with code BienvenueTPP

Just before our flight to Southeast Asia, we passed by Paris where I had the great honor of working with the online shop Dressing Responsable, by getting creative to form these three outfits. Today I propose to you the first outfit with an urban look and a chic touch, and as usual, holding hands with good ethics.

This season I must have some sort of natural attraction for red. This red skirt made by Carrousel Clothing in France has been the starting point of the outfit. I have a special appeal for Carrousel Clothing, their workshop is based in Annecy, the beautiful city where I studied. This past winter, I couldn’t stop wearing these trousers, and they have a spring version of them in light blue {currently on sale and last seen here}. Each piece made by Carrousel Clothing is done in limited series to avoid extra production and to fulfill the hearts of those who love exclusivity. The skirt is 100% pure virgin wool, which is a fabric know as a perfect temperature regulator.

I’ve mixed up this vivid red with the pastel pink t-shirt Les Sublimes, in Lenzing micro-modal made in France {you probably saw me wearing other basic garments from their collection here, here or here} and these low-chrome {vegetable tanning} leather Veja sneakers made in Brazil with fair trade.

The ethical gold jewelry by JEM Paris {Jewellery Ethically Minded, and a play on words in spoken French meaning I love/like} is the chic touch I was talking about in this urban look. Just before the photo shoot, I had the great pleasure to meet the founder of JEM, Dorothée, with whom I had a long conversation about the ethics of gold mining. I was quite aware of the awfulness involving diamond mining, but I somehow ignored the environmental and ethical issues that turned around gold mining. While engaging with the production of its jewelry in every step of the way, JEM is the first French brand to obtain the label “Fairminded”, which guarantees the ethical production of gold and its ecological and responsible extraction in the mines.
